Kateryna is the critically-acclaimed illustrator of seventeen books in Ukraine,  including the title Quiet Night, My Astronaut (Silent Night, My Astronaut in the UK), about the first days and nights of the War in Ukraine  through the lens of a child, which was published in the United States and  United Kingdom in 2024, and won the All-Ukrainian Best Book award, and the  Goethe-Institut Best Book Design award. The Financial Times named it a  Best Book of 2024. Kateryna graduated from the Kyiv University of Technology  and Design and has a Master’s degree in textile design. She is passionate about  Ukrainian culture, especially traditional red-and-black embroidering and  Ukrainian naive art. In 2025 she had a personal charity exhibition, “Talismans  of Ukraine” which was held in Kyiv, where she lives with her family.
