Originally from California and Taiwan, Josh Cochran is an illustrator, art director and muralist living in Brooklyn.

He has received a Grammy nomination for his album art and as well as a silver medal from The Society of Illustrators. His installations and murals can be seen at places like The New York Transit Museum, Lea Elementary School 3rd floor in West Philly and off Pearl Street at the Asian Arts Initiative. Josh’s illustrations have a streetwise urban cool. HIs art feels alive with texture and grit while also being poetic and beautiful. His accolades reflect both critical recognition and broad creative reach. He’s widely recognized as a standout illustrator with award winning work that spans editorial, commercial and publishing projects. Josh teaches at the School of Visual Arts in NYC and is an endurance sports enthusiast.
