Elizabeth Elford
Agent: Adriana StimolaElizabeth Elford is a writer, mother, and champion of public libraries.
She grew up on an off-grid lesbian commune in rural Arkansas before leaving home at 17 to live in Russia as an exchange student. She later spent eight years living and working in Russia, an experience that continues to inform her writing and her sense of place.
She earned an MA in Creative Writing from City University London and has worked in PR, international development, and as a communications specialist for public libraries in the UK, alongside freelance writing for a range of organizations. Her work has appeared in The Huffington Post, The Moscow Times, and Passport magazine.
After nearly a decade each in Moscow and London, she now lives in Geneva, Switzerland with her family. She is fluent in Russian, speaks Italian, and is working on French.
