Anna McGregor is an Australian author, illustrator and designer creating award-winning picture books with humor and heart. 

Her book Who’s Afraid of the Light? was recognized internationally with a White Raven selection and inclusion in the dPictus 100 Outstanding Picture Books, and received honors including the Yellowhammer Book Award for Picture Book of the Year and the Red Clover Book Award. Her much-anticipated upcoming title, Dear Humans, We Stole Your Crayon!, will be published by Scribble in Australia and by Scholastic in North America and the UK.

Anna grew up in regional Australia, worked as a graphic designer in London, and now lives in Melbourne with her family. She doesn’t have pets, but an echidna lives under the deck, a possum occupies the carport, and she’s on a first-name basis with the parrots. It’s an informal arrangement.
