Tanita S. Davis is the award-winning author of several novels for middle grade and young adult readers.

They include Peas and Carrots, Partly Cloudy, The Science of Friendship, and Mare’s War, which was a Coretta Scott King Honor Book and earned her a nomination for the NAACP Image Award.

An avid reader and poetry enthusiast, Tanita now relies (mostly) on writing fiction instead of telling lies and lives in Northern California with her favorite David and far too many craft supplies.
