THE LIGHT IN EVERYTHING: AANIIN by Carole Lindstrom sells to Abrams (Agent: Allison Remcheck)

Emma Ledbetter while at Abrams acquired world rights to The Light in Everything: Aaniin by We Are Water Protectors author Carole Lindstrom (an enrolled citizen of the Turtle Mountain Band of Ojibwe), illustrated by Kate Gardiner (a member of the Chaubunagungamaug band of Nipmuck Indians). Based on an Ojibwe greeting, this picture book recognizes the value and joy in nature and in all living things. Publication is planned for fall 2027; Emma Ledbetter and Sara Sproull will edit. The deal was negotiated for the author while represented by Allison Remcheck at Stimola Literary Studio, and Steve Malk at Writers House represented the illustrator.
