Hana Tzou and Connie Hsu at Fifth Color Press have bought world rights to Strong Joan by Jenny Howard (Transylvania County), illustrated by Devin Fan (The Barnabus Project), a middle grade novel in which an eight-year-old girl with super strength has to save her friend's inventor father and his stolen invention, and stop a nefarious plot at the toy company headquartered in her town. Publication is slated for spring 2028; Allison Remcheck at Stimola Literary Studio represented the author and illustrator.
