Cindy Loh at Scholastic has acquired husband and wife author-illustrator team Matthew Swanson and Robbi Behr's Catch That Rat!, a rhyming picture book that follows an ebullient yet reckless cat and his nervous and frazzled duck sidekick as they careen from one disaster to the next, trying to catch an elusive rat before the hero burns through all nine lives. Publication is planned for August 2027; Allison Remcheck at Stimola Literary Studio sold world rights.
