Jason Pratt graduated from a small liberal arts college called the University of Florida with a degree in TV Production, which naturally led to a career as a middle school social studies teacher.

Between entertaining his 140-something children at work and his two young children at home, finding opportunities to write has become something akin to a perpetual (but wonderfully enriching) scavenger hunt.

His debut picture book, Three Squeezes, illustrated by Chris Sheban, was published in 2020 by Roaring Brook Press.
