Caroline L. Perry is a British, California-based children’s author known for her skillful storytelling in both prose and rhyme. Her debut picture book, The Corgi and the Queen (Godwin/Macmillan), was featured in Vogue, People, and Vanity Fair.

Her newest title, I Am Not Happy (Simon & Schuster), is a Kids’ Indie Next Pick, while her picture book biography Messi’s Magic (Scholastic Press), earned a starred review from School Library Journal and was named a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection. Caroline’s forthcoming titles include I Am Not Grumpy! and Nighty Knight (both from Simon & Schuster) as well as Nobody’s Cat (Kids Can Press).

Beyond her writing, Caroline was a lead organizer of Kidlit for Los Angeles, a fundraising initiative that rallied the children’s publishing industry, raising almost $180,000 for wildfire relief and attracting both domestic and international media coverage.
