Laura Toffler-Corrie

Laura Toffler-Corrie is an award winning author and produced playwright. Her young adult books include The Life and Opinions of Amy Finawitz, a two time PJ Library Our Way Selection, and My Totally Awkward Supernatural Crush (Roaring Brook/Macmillan).

Her middle grade novel, Noah Green Saves the World, is the recipient of the PJ Library’s Author Incentive Award. It’s been acquired by Kar-Ben Publishing and is due to be released in 2020. Laura holds an MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and teaches literature and creative writing at Pace University.

Since recently rekindling her interest in illustration, Laura’s been embarking on museum crawls, from MOMA to obscure galleries, where she delights in spotting little know works by well known artists.

Laura lives in Westchester, NY, with her two daughters and husband on a historic property once belonging to a Revolutionary War family, then to the first, and only, Prime Minister of Russia.

Laura also owns a variety of pets that range from about 7 pounds to 700 pounds. The big ones live outside.
